Born on April 3, 1972 in Urbana, Illinois, Jennifer Eve Garth began her acting career in 1989 with role on the TV series A Brand New Life. Garth was soon after cast as Kelly Taylor on the popular TV series Beverly Hills, 90210, Garth continued acting on the show for ten years until its end in 2000.

Whilst working on Beverly Hills, 90210 Garth was in the films Lies of the Heart: The Story of Laurie Kellogg, Falling for You and Without Consent. In 2002, she was cast as Valerie Tyler in the TV series called What I Like About You and she continued it until 2006.
